ZOMBIE GIRL fundraiser - Tuesday night

A group of Austin filmmakers are holding a fundraiser for their documentary Zombie Girl, Tuesday May 23rd. This is a cool project that I have been following from a distance. You may have heard about the 12-year old Austin girl who made a feature length zombie flick called Pathogen. Well, Zombie Girl is the documentary about her attempts to make that flick. As part of the fundraisers, clips from both Zombie Girl and Pathogen will be shown.
Here are the details:
Time: Tuesday May 23rd 7 - 11:00 p.m.
Place: The Blue Theater
Cost: Suggested $10 donation (includes drinks, snacks and a raffle ticket for a chance to win cool prizes.)
This sounds like a cool event and it’s definitely a chance to help support Austin independent filmmakers. And, dude, ZOMBIES!
Directions from the shows flyer: To get to the Blue Theater, head East on 7th street past I-35, cross a land bridge and look for Springdale immediately on your left (next light after Pleasant Valley. Take a left onto Springdale (used tires on the corner) and cross over another set of rail road tracks and look to your left for the Goodwill sign. The next entrance on your left into the complex of warehouses is the one you want. Look for the Blue Theater sign on the gate. Go straight to the back, past all the trucks, and look for our brand-spanking-new neon sign that says “Theatre.”
