Scanner Darkly parody video

The release of the eagerly awaited Richard Linklater flick A SCANNER DARKLY is right around the corner. If you live in Austin and know any artists, you have probably heard more than you can stand about the drama surrounding the making of this movie. To make a long story short, all the lead animators were replaced midway through production including the legendary Bob Sabiston (WAKING LIFE) who created the software that was used to make the movie.

Now, Sabistons company has released a video on their website that claims to be an audition video, but in actuality works as an excellent parody of the movie itself. This will be much funnier after you have seen the actual movie, but it works pretty well as a standalone piece. Check it out and use our comments feature to let us know what you think!
