ROOM’s run extended

We’ve already told you about Kyle Henry’s Room - which by the way, we saw yesterday and liked quite a bit. Now we have more good news courtesy of the movie’s director of photography, P.J. Raval
Exciting news today that Room’s run has been extended for another week at the Alamo, playing nightly at 7PM from Friday, April 14th through Thursday, April 20th! For those friends and family who still haven’t seen it on the big screen, now might be their last chance!
This is a really interesting movie and I’m glad the run has been extended. Room isn’t for everybody, and is in fact, even more experimental than I had imagined. Leave your expectations at the door and just let the movie do its work.
Here are some more details about Room:
* Official Selection, Director’s Fortnight of the 2005 Cannes Film Festival
* Official Selection of the 2005 Sundance Film Festival
* Nominated for Two 2006 Independent Spirit Awards
Continues at 7PM nightly through Thursday, April 20th! Alamo Drafthouse South, 1120 South Lamar Blvd.,
Austin, TX
ROOM is a psychological drama about an over-worked woman from Texas who is haunted by psychic visions,
driving her to extreme acts, which land her on the streets of New York City during the Christmas season. Cyndi Williams, in her feature film debut, was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for her riveting performance.
ROOM had its U.S. premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and its international premiere at the Cannes Film Festival (Director’s Fortnight) in 2005. The film is produced by The 7th Floor (http://www.the7thfloor.com); and executive produced by Michael Stipe’s C-Hundred Film Corp.
