New Okay Mountain show opens Saturday

The second show at the awesome new Okay Mountain gallery opens this Saturday, June 24th. The show is “Hitten Switches” and features a collaboration between artists Travis Millard and Michael Sieben.

Travis Millard and Michael Sieben sent drawings back and forth from Los Angeles, CA to Austin, TX throughout the year of 2005. After over ten trips through the aluminum-lined world of the postal service they were finally satisfied enough to share the fruits of their labors. Upon completion of the project, Volcom Stone published a 40 page art book that focused on the correspondence of the project and the friendship that grew along the way.

The Hitten Switches show features the original drawings from the book as well as new work from both artists. The first 300 people through the door receive a free copy of the Hitten Switches book. The second 300 people through the door receive slightly awkward high fives.
