Free Calexico concert this Saturday
End of an Ear and KGSR are throwing a free Calexico concert this Saturday at Emo’s. I like Calexico a lot, and even I am hard-pressed to describe their music. I guess experimental alternative country mariachi folk punk might cover it. Whatever it is, it’s good stuff. Their new album Garden Ruin hit stores today and while it’s a definite departure, it’s pretty freaking awesome. (EDIT: Thanks to the commenter below we have changed the time to 6:00)

The Emo’s webpage (http://www.emosaustin.com) says the show starts at 6pm (it is the early show) not at 10pm. If you show up at 10pm you are gonna be PISSED.
