Austin Outsider contributor serializes a novel

Believe it or not, we do other things than write sarcastic blog posts. Now one of our regular Austin Outsider contributors has begun serializing his novel in the electric pages of Thuglit. The first chapter of B.H. Shepherd’s serialized novel Sweet Benny and the Sanchez Penitentiary Band is available for download here. Thuglit may be a little too hard-boiled for some of you peace-loving Austin hippies, but if you like hardboiled writing, this is the place to read the new school shit. Thuglit is a bi-monthly publication devoted to tough-as-nails crime writing.
