Apartment Food Hobos is another Austin food blog, but with a completely different slant. The site bills itself as “a record of what two humans living ini an apartment in Austin, Texas eat for dinner”. Don’t expect well-polished writing here. The writing really gives you the feel of an over-caffeinated over-excited close friend telling you about something you just HAVE TO TRY. But that is the charm of this site.

You don’t have to worry about the Hobos getting too gourmet on your ass either. So far I have found them singing the praises of a lot of my low-rent favorites including BurgerTex and El Chilito. And I was completely unaware of the Fish Taco Burrito at El Chilito and will definitely be trying it the next time I go there. Which will probably be today. This is a really funny blog that will also actually give you some good Austin restaurant tips. Not to mention, it is great for killing time while you sit in your cubicle waiting for the week to end.
